Learning, Exploring, Playing & Growing

The early years of a child's life are an important period for developing the skills, confidence and attitudes that support future learning.

At Smart Kids Pre School & Day Care, our Pre School Programme is designed to provide children with a safe, caring and stimulating environment where they can learn, explore, play and develop at their own pace.

We believe that young children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning. Therefore, our programme combines play-based learning, structured activities, creative experiences and age-appropriate educational activities to support the whole child.

Developing the Whole Child

Our approach focuses on developing important skills, positive attitudes and learning habits that support children's overall development.

A Progressive Learning Journey

The programme is carefully structured according to the developmental stage of each age group, allowing children to progress naturally from their first experience of school towards readiness for primary education.

🧸

Play Group Class

Ages 2 – 3 Years

The Play Group Class is the first step into the world of school for young children.

Designed for children aged 2 to 3 years, the programme provides a gentle and positive introduction to a structured learning environment. At this age, children are beginning to develop independence, communication skills and relationships outside their immediate family.

Our Play Group environment gives children opportunities to explore, participate and interact with others while feeling safe and supported.

Learning Through Age-Appropriate Activities

Songs and rhymes

Games and movement activities
Art and creative activities
Hands-on exploration
Early communication activities
Social interaction and group activities
Simple routines and self-help activities

Through these experiences, children gradually become more comfortable in a school environment while developing confidence, communication and social skills.

👧 Small Group Learning

The Play Group is limited to 10 children, allowing teachers to provide more individual attention and closely observe each child's development and needs.

Our goal is to make a child's first school experience enjoyable, comfortable and positive.

🎒 Preparing for Primary School

An important focus of Kindergarten is developing the confidence, independence and learning habits children need when they move into primary education.

Children are gradually encouraged to take greater responsibility for their activities, follow instructions, participate in group learning and complete age-appropriate tasks independently.

Our Approach to Early Childhood Education

At Smart Kids, we believe that early education should be both meaningful and enjoyable. Our teachers create opportunities for children to learn through play, exploration, interaction, creativity and guided activities.

We encourage children to ask questions, express themselves, try new things and learn from their experiences.

We also recognise that every child develops differently. Our learning environment therefore aims to provide encouragement, guidance and appropriate support so that children can develop their abilities with confidence.

Our ultimate goal is not simply to prepare children academically, but to help them become confident, independent, curious and enthusiastic learners who are ready for the next stage of their educational journey.

Begin Your Child's Learning Journey

From the first steps into school through to preparation for primary education, the Smart Kids Pre School Programme provides a structured and supportive journey for young learners.

With age-appropriate learning, caring teachers, English-medium instruction and a strong focus on overall child development, we aim to give every child a positive foundation for future education.
